Pelindo IV prepares free buses for Eid homecoming

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MAKASSAR -- State-owned port operator PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) IV Makassar in cooperation with state-owned public transportation operator PT Damri provided buses to be used the passengers when arrive at the Port of Makassar ex Sukarno Hatta to their hometowns or villages.

"It has been prepared as much as 1.500 seats for passengers who want to forth to their hometowns after arrive at the port," said Public Relations of Pelindo IV Makassar Erisanty in Makassar on Sunday (19/6).

Erisanty added, free homecoming buses provided from the city of Makassar to Bulukumba district and Makassar to Pare-Pare district.

This program will begin fifteen days before Eid 1437 Hijri. Besides, Pelindo IV  has coordinated with Damri provide a number of trans Maminasata or buses are already equipped with air conditioning and can accommodate the passengers. When asked how to register for this program, Erisanty said, the passengers can register at the post that has been prepared.

"No requirements, the passengers who sign up quickly can get these facilities and transported to the routes that has been prepared. We also did the same thing last year, even distributed flyers to campuses," Erisanty added.
