REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SURABAYA -- Surabaya mayor Tri Rismaharini (Risma) ordered civil servants in Surabaya City administration, East Java, to comply the rules of special working hours during Ramadan. If they violate it, Surabaya City administration will impose sanctions according to the rules.
Risma said working hours of civil servants in Surabaya City administration reduced for one hour during Ramadan. During Monday-Thursday, working hours starting from 08.00 AM to 03.00 PM. And working hours in Friday begin from 8.00 am to 13.30 pm. She added, work discipline of civil servants can be seen through the finger print machine. Through this electronic tool, it can be seen whether the working hours in accordance with the provisions or fewer. The indiscipline will be accumulated within period of one month until one year.
"There are calculations. Many have been getting sanctioned because their working hours is fewer,'' Risma said to reporters when met at her office on Monday (6/6).
Related to sanctions, it comprise of verbal or written reprimands, cutting performance allowance (TKD), until the dismissal. However, on the first day of Ramadan on Monday, Risma has not obtained report about indisciplinary of civil servants in Surabaya.
