REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BOGOR -- During Ramadan 1437 Hijri, nightclubs in Bogor City, West Java, must be closed. Bogor City administration ordered nightclubs to be closed during the fasting month.
"From before the month of fasting in Ramadan this year, entertainment venues such as nightclubs, billiard are closed," said Public Relations of Bogor city administration Encep Alhamidi on Monday (6/6).
He explained, the closure of nightclubs has been effective since three days before the fasting month. He explained this policy is in line with the Decree of the Bogor Mayor No. 300-45-145 2016 on the temporary closure of entertainment venues.
"Entertainment venues are closed temporarily include musical performances that held at hotels, shopping malls, restaurants / cafes, and other entertainment venues," said Encep.
Encep continued, places like billiard, tv games, and other dexterity game are also closed. He emphasized that all the entertainment containing of gambling will be closed.
Besides that, the Bogor City administration also close massage parlors during the fasting month.
"Entertainment venues that make the people feel restless in Ramadan is closed," said Encep.
The nightclubs is closed until July 9, 2016. For those who violate, the Bogor municipal government will give sanction of business license revocation and other sanctions pursuant the regulations of the Act.
