REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Officials in the Secretariat General of the Regional Representatives Council (DPD) of Republic Indonesia will receive performance allowance, which amount from Rp 1,5 million to Rp 19,3 million.
Decision for employee performance benefits are arranged in a presidential regulation (Perpres) Number 37 Year 2016 which was signed by President Jokowi since 3 May.
As quoted from the government website www.setkab.go.id, the government said that the performance allowance given based on employee performance doing bureaucratic reform in the Secretariat General DPD Indonesia and as effort to improve employee performance.
According to this regulation, employees (government officials and other employees) who have positions in the Secretariat General of the DPD, besides salary, they also get performance allowance monthly.
Amount of benefits depending on grade level positions. For first grade positions get Rp 1,563 million monthly. While in positions 17, which is the top position get Rp 19,36 million.
The benefit is paid starting from January 2016. And tax income on performance allowance charged to the State Budget (APBN).
