REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has urged all ministers in his cabinet to focus on completing their assigned tasks amid rumors of a reshuffle.

"Everyone must focus on their work first. No need to push, do not," Jokowi stated here, Sunday evening.

He also hoped there would be no intervention regarding a decision to reshuffle the cabinet lineup.

"No one should dictate terms," he affirmed.

Earlier, presidential spokesman Johan Budi stated that President Jokowi had no plan yet to reshuffle the cabinet.

"Whether there is cabinet reshuffle comes under the domain of Mr. President," he noted at the Presidential Staff's Office on Thursday (March 31).

He made the remarks in response to questions posed by journalists regarding a rumored cabinet reshuffle.

Johan said he was aware of the president's official agenda only for Thursday when he would receive the executive board of Nahdlatul Ulama, the country's largest Islamic organization.

When questioned about President Jokowi's decision to cancel a working visit to East Java, Johan remarked that the head of state had appointed a minister to oversee the export of railway coaches to Bangladesh.

"The president cancelled a working visit to East Java as he had an internal program," Johan added.
