REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Indonesian National Police investigators cooperated with the Australian Federal Police (AFP) to trail Jessica Kumala during stay in Australia. The results of the investigation police found murder suspect Wayan Mirna Salihin track record attempted suicide.
Former Metro Jaya police chief, Tito Karnavian, confirm Jessica suicide attempts. But, he cannot uncover that in detail.
"Yes there is a criminal record, among them attempted suicide," said Tito at Police Headquarters, Jakarta on Monday (21/3).
Other than suicide attempt, investigators also found 14 Jessica criminal track record. But, Tito said, police have not been able to expose about the findings because there is an agreement with the Australian.
"Tied in Mutual Legal Agrement (MLA) with Australia, every statement issued by the police there should be an agreement," said Tito after sworn in as Chief BNPT.
Tito grateful for the cooperation with the AFP investigation yielded very good results. Where the result will be a new way for the investigator to complete the investigation file.
"It is now filing for advanced stages of the second, I think this is very good information from Australia," he explained.
