President orders ESDM budget realization must exceed 90 percent

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo witnessed the signing of the 2016 Strategic Activities Contracts of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). President reminded the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to accelerate the budge realization in 2016.

"Budget realization in 2015 was 64 percent. I have instructed the Minister to make the 2016 budged realization exceeding 90 percent. It must exceed 90 percent, it is non-negotiable,'' President said on Monday (29/2).

The event at the ESDM Ministry was the third stage. Previously, the first and second stages already conducted in January and February 2016. President witnessed the signing of 24 projects. Overall, 133 contract packages worth Rp 3,04 trillion in this third stage.

Attending the event were Minister of Finance Bambang Brodjonegoro, Attorney General Prasetyo, and directors of State Owned Enterprises (BUMN).
