REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo emphasize Masela Block decision will be announced in 2018. Currently, the related minister still studies the project.

"This is a big project and long term. Currently, still in study process, will be decided in 2018," said President in Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Ministry building on Monday (29/2).

The study reviewing Masela Block project method, it will develop on onshore or offshore. President emphasized Masela Block must contribute to Maluku economy.

"Not for exploitation, the people around should be benefitted," said President.
