REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SURABAYA -- The Surabaya City Service and Investment Coordinating Board (BKPPM) has started one-stop integrated services to impart the public legal certainty about licensing services.
The opening of one-stop integrated services are a follow up to the Surabaya mayor's regulation number 2 of 2016 on one-stop integrated services, BKPPM Chief, Eko Agus Supiadi said here on Thursday.
"We do it all to provide the best possible services to Surabaya residents," he said.
The one-stop integrated services reflect the Surabaya city government's spirit to provide the public with licensing services in a quick, effective and transparent way, as well as give the public legal certainty about licensing services, he said.
In addition, the one-stop integrated services are also aimed at ensuring the city residents' and investors' rights to primary licensing services, he said.
In providing the one-stop integrated services, the city government had taken into account several aspects, including simplifying licensing requirements, accelerating the process of settling applications, providing information about cost certainty, and certainty about licensing procedure, Eko said.
The fact that all regional apparatus working units under the purview of the city government have been integrated through the licensing system called the Surabaya Single Window (SSW) had enabled the local government in shortening the licensing process, he said.
Now that the licensing process had been integrated in the SSW system, residents can obtain licensing services everywhere without having to come to the licensing service office, Eko noted.
