REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SOLO -- Solo became one of the cities in Indonesia that had slum area. This year, the slum area in that city has a measurement about 357.45 Ha.
The new governments succeed to reduce measure of slum area about 110 Ha. Last year, slum area in Solo reached 467.62 Ha.
"The new regional government could reduce slum area in Solo that reached 467.62 Ha last year. Now, the data has been updated in Slum Urban Area Plan (RKPKP)," city coordinator program of improvement settlement region Solo, Bagus Ardian said on Friday (22/1).
According to Bagus, RKPKP noted there are 357.45 Ha slum area left in Solo. Later, the restructuring slum area program must refer from that data.
Currently, the new data still on process to be a decree or known as SK. After becoming a decree, restructuring program will continue in order to improve Solo as a better city.
