In his preface to his book on the UAE Project to Explore Mars, Shaikh Mohammed writes: "On December 2, 1971, the first man-made spaceship in the history landed on Mars which marked the beginning of a new scientific era in the history of mankind. On the same day, our forefathers at the Union House announced the establishment of the UAE to kick off a different march which aimed to build the Emirati nation, Khaleej Times reported

"After only 50 years, in 2021, the two marches will meet at a point 60 million kilometres away from us, where Emirati nationals will add to the march of human knowledge a new impetus with an Arab imprint."

To make the dream comes true; UAE has made several steps, among other with Japan. On Monday UAE explored deep cooperation with Japanese space gency for space initiative in Abu Dhabi’s  Japan Space Week occasion.

“As a result of our achievements, we will be able to extend our cooperation with the UAE, helping the country achieve its goals and aspirations in space,” Yosuke Takagi, Japanese State Minister for economy, trade and industry said, quoted from Gulf News.
