Jokowi inaugurates several ambassadors

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated a number of ambassador to friendly countries at the State Palace in Jakarta, Wednesday (23/12). The inauguration that was began around 11:00 am was attended by a number of state officials, among others, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno LP Marsudi, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung and Minister of Agraria Ferry Mulsidan Baldan.

The ambassadors that were sworn in were I Gusti Agung Wesakapuja as Ambassador to Kingdom of the Netherlands and Organization for Probition of Chemical Weapons based in The Hague. Marshal (Retired) Muhammad Basri Sidehabi as Ambassador of Qatar, located in Doha.

Marshal (Retired) Budhy Santoso as Ambassador of Republic of Panama, with Honduras, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua, located in Panama City. Masyur Pangeran as Ambassador of Senegal with Cago Verde, Republic of The Gambia, Republic of Guinea Bissau, Republic of Mali, Republic of the Ivory Coast, and Republic of Sierra Leone, located in Dakar.

Musthofa Taufik Abdul Latif as Ambassador of Sultanate of Oman, located in Muscat. Raden Bagas Hapsoro as Ambassador of Kingdom of Sweden, with Latvia, located in Stockholm.

I Gede Ngurah Swajaya as Ambassador of Singapore, located in Singapore. Rizal Sukma as Ambassador of the United Kingdom with Ireland and International Maritime Organization, located in London.

Ibnu Hadi as Ambassador of Socialist Republic of Vietnam, located in Hanoi. Dian Triansyah Djani as Ambassador/Permanent Representative to the UN and other international organizations in New York.
