REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Rizal Ramli said, Israel was not included in the list of visa free receiver countries. Indonesian government agreed to write off Israel from 84 countries who get visa-free.

"Israel is not in the proposal. The country [name] has been erased [from the list]," he told Republika.co.id, Tuesday (22/12).

Previously, Rizal Ramli issued a statement related to 84 countries who received visa-free this week. Israel was one of them.

However, Rizal clarified that the statement was not true. It was because the government and the parliament have agreed not to include Israel as a country who received visa-free.

So far, Indonesia has no diplomatic relations with Israel. So that both Israelis and Indonesians could only enter the countries with a special request.
