REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Aircraft T-50 Golden Eagle crashed while performing in an event of Gebyar Dirgantara AAU Yogyakarta. According to Head of Information Department of the Air Force (TNI AU), Air Commodore Dwi Badarmanto, the aircraft was doing a solo demo.
"It's true there were crashes of T-50. The incident occurred at 09.50," said Dwi Badarmanto to Republika.co.id, Sunday (20/12).
Dwi added that according to the information obtained, there were two victims of the crash. Both victims were pilot and co-pilot of aircraft T-50, namely Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Marda Sarjono and Captain Pilot Dwi Cahyadi.
When he was asked further about the chronology of accident, he could not explain more. He said he was also looking for information about the cause of the crash.
