REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- AirAsia Indonesia received an award of Leading International Low Cost Airline for two consecutive years from Indonesia Travel and Tourism Awards Foundation (ITTA). Indonesia Travel and Tourism Awards 2015-2016 is the event that rewards the best of the best of travel and tourism industry in Indonesia.
Candidates at this award, among others, the best hotels, airlines, luxury resorts, apartment and serviced suites in Indonesia, and also specific sectors such as tourism promotion board and cruise ship operators. Winners of each category were determined based on an assessment of the jury and also online voting.

During 11 years of operations, AirAsia Indonesia has flown over 40 million passengers through five cities in Indonesia, namely Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Medan and Bali.
Last week, AirAsia Group also received three prestigious awards at World Travel Awards, namely as 'World Best Cost Saving Airlines' for three consecutive years, as 'The Best Cost Saving Website Airlines' and as 'The Best Cost Saving Airline Application'.
Moreover, AirAsia has also previously made history by winning the award of 'The Best Cabin Crew in Asia' at World Travel Awards (Asia and Australia) Gala 2015.
