Indonesia wins 46 gold medal in ASEAN Paragames

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Indonesian contingent was in the top position of ASEAN Paragames 2015. Indonesia position was followed by Thailand and Malaysia in second and third position.

Based on www.aseanparagames2015.com page on Sunday (6/12), the Indonesian contingent was able to collect 46 gold medal, 46 silver medal, and 27 bronze medal. In earlier days, Indonesia collected 22 gold medals, 19 silver medals, and 15 bronze medals.

The gold medal was presented by chess matches through Tati Karhati and Nasip Farta. In addition, the gold medal was also from athletics, swimming, badminton, and table tennis.

"There are still plenty of medals to be achieved. Total medals are around 450 medals," said CdMs of Indonesian contingent, Faisal Abdullah, as reported in kemenpora.go.id.

Meanwhile, Thailand in the second position has collected 42 gold medals, 40 silver medals and 46 bronze medals. In the third position, there was Malaysia with 31 gold medals, 31 silver medals and 20 bronze medals. It was followed by Vietnam with 28 gold medals, 30 silver medals and 28 bronze medals.
