REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SEMARANG -- National racer Rio Haryanto and racer Jordan King would undergo testing of Pirelli tires with Formula One (F1) team Manor Marussia at Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), in December 2015.

Cep Goldia, media relations of Rio Haryanto, in electronic mail received in Semarang, Central Java, said that the test on Tuesday (1/12) will be the first time for Jordan to drive an F1 car in his racing career. While Rio had participated twice in two test sessions with the F1 team in 2010 and 2012.

At this year's racing season, both riders would be racing in GP2 Series. Rio Haryanto joined the Campos Racing team, while Jordan King joined Racing Engineering team. Rio was in the fourth place with a total value of 132 and Jordan was ranked 12th with a total value of 52.

Jordan had attended two Grand Prix this year with Manor in Austin and Mexico City in outside competition but worked closely with the team, so that he could add experience. Rio and Jordan would share opportunity over the team car.

John Both of Principal Team said, he hoped to give Rio and Jordan the chance to drive MR03B in Abu Dhabi next week. The test with Manor Marussia team was held after the end of GP2 Series car race 2015 which was also held at Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, UAE, 27th to 29th November.
