"Sentul will be a racing circuit that will cross commercial and housing areas. A hotel will be built next to the circuit so that guests can watch the race from their rooms, just like in the Monaco Grand Prix," said Director of Sentul Circuit, Tinton Soeprapto, Monday (23/11).

Renovation of the circuit in this 'Rain City' would begin in December. Minister of Youth and Sports, Imam Nahrowi, recently also signed a letter of intent for the MotoGP event 2017 with Dorna.

"Indonesia is a two-wheeler users in the world. This country has the largest motorcycle factory and also largest tire manufacturer in the world. It becomes reason that Indonesia deserves to hold the event," Tinton explained.
