REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG -- Asep is a common name for Sundanese people. The owner's of name Asep who were incorporated in 'Association of Asep in the World', would hold a conference, namely Conference of Asep Asep (KAA).
The conference which would be held in Bandung, West Java, on Sunday (25/10), would be attended by hundreds of people named Asep.
According to Committee Chairman of Conference of Asep Asep, Asep Tutuy TuryanaIa, until now there have been about a hundred people named Asep who were confirmed to attend the conference.
"And the number will probably increase. We open the confirmation of attendance until Saturday," said Asep, Wednesday (21/10).
Asep said, this association has actually been existed since 2009 in social media Facebook. At that time, he always held informal meetings for people named Asep.
"Well, I just think to make a formal event. We want Asep existence can be felt and useful for others" he added.
The conference, he said, has a theme "Ti Asep, Ku Asep, Keur Indonesia (From Asep, By Asep, for Indonesia). It would discuss the future plan of Association of Asep in the World.
