REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Indonesia's Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with the Philip Kotler Center for ASEAN Marketing (PKCAM) and MarkPlus Inc. are holding the First ASEAN Marketing Summit 2015 (AMS 2015), based on the theme "New Think ASEAN!" in Jakarta.
"The first AMS is a forum that will bring together marketing players in the ASEAN region," MarkPlus Management Inc.?s Hermawan Kartajaya said on Friday.
AMS will also aim for sharing strategies on marketing players in order to meet new challenges and market opportunities, especially in the face of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC).
According to him, AMS 2015 will discuss topics related to various case studies on AEC marketing.
The event will also present, "Tri-Founder of Philip Kotler of ASEAN Marketing," among others, Professor Philip Kotler, known as the "The Father of Modern Marketing, and Professor Hooi Den Huan.
The event will draw participation from 800 people, including businessmen, academics, professionals from ASEAN member countries and other Asian countries.
The first grand event for marketing in ASEAN regional will be supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, Asia Marketing Federation, the ASEAN Secretariat, the Regional Representative Council, and Indonesia Marketing Association.
