REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MECCA -- As of Thursday (1/10) morning, Secretary of Work Area of Mecca, Hajj Committee of Saudi Arabia, Muhammad Noer Alya Fitra, stated that the number of victims from Indonesia increased by two people, from 57 people to 59 people.
"Earlier, we announced that there were 57 people, ie 53 pilgrims from Indonesia and 4 workers," he said.
The two new victims identified were Abdul Wahab Idris Jafar from fleet BTH 14 with passport number A2708444 and Hosen Ibrahim Nimat from fleet SUB 48 with passport number B1023186.
He added that the Indonesian pilgrims who were injured and hospitalized in several hospital in Saudi Arabia, had been reduced to four people. An injured pilgrim had returned to the lodging.
"A pilgrim who has returned was Murtiningsih Neman Sunar Akun from fleet SUB 48," he confirmed.
