REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANJAR -- Head of Office of Banjar Ministry of Religious Affairs, Dada Romansyah stated that there were five pilgrims of Banjar, West Java, died in an incident in Mina, Saudi Arabia.
"It was reported that there were five victims," Dada said, Saturday (26/9).
He said the victims were two married couples, namely Atang Gumawang (41) and his wife Ima Rismawati (30), then Dikdik Muhammad Tasdik (39) and his wife Ira Kusmira (36), and Maemunah (53), from Parunglesang, Banjar.
"The two couples were still siblings," he added.
The information of the victims of Mina incident, said Dada, was from the victims' families and mentors of pilgrims from Banjar in Saudi Arabia, via mobile phones. In addition, there were also pilgrims from Banjar who were injured due to the incident of Mina.
"Victims who were injured are reportedly still undergo medical treatment in hospital," he said.
