REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Indonesian Train Company has released a list of 38 people who were injured when two commuter trains crashed at the Juanda Station in Central Jakarta on Wednesday afternoon.

The list of the victims was pasted on the Juanda Station's wall. The injured included an infant, Zidan, who is all of three months.

All the victims were being taken care of at hospitals around Central Jakarta. The company provided hotline numbers 021-3807777, 021-3453535 and 081513300331 for anyone seeking further information.

The investigation into the crash is underway and the police, working along with the company's staff, was still trying to evacuate people from the train.

The crash occurred when the KA 1156 Jakarta City-Bogor commuter train hit the train KA 1154 on the second line of the Juanda Station. Both the trains had the same destination.

There was no report of anyone dying in the crash, but it did bring traffic to a halt along the Jakarta City-Bogor and Bogor-Jakarta City commuter lines from the Juanda Station. Passengers wanting to travel to the next station in Manggarai had to use other means of transportation.

The Indonesian Train Company has officially apologized for the crash, but no further explanation about insurance and compensation for the victims was available as yet.
