REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- PT. Pertamina (Persero) planned to release a new product, a non-subsidized LPG of 5.5 kg. Marketing Director of Pertamina, Ahmad Bambang, said the 5.5 kg LPG was planned to be marketed next month.
" I have been surveying the logos and the color, whether it would be pink, orange, or purple," he said after the signing of cooperation between PT. Pertamina (Persero) and PT. Adaro Energy Tbk in Pertamina Headquarters, Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur, Central Jakarta, Friday (11/9).
The tube shape is also being considered whether it would be thin or not. He emphasized that the main target of 5.5 kg LPG is the apartment residents or the non-poor who are still using 3 kg LPG.
The existance of competitors were also becoming a reason of the production of 5,5 kg LPG. The marketing strategy of this LPG will be modeled like Pertalite. Pertamina will target major cities for initial phase.
"The price is estimated below Rp 80 thousand, so that the 3 kg LPG users can move to 5,5 kg LPG," he added.
