In the context of competitive and economic value of fisheries, Indonesia did not have a strategic position, because Indonesia was only in second rank.
Previously, Minister of Marine and Fisheries, Susi Pudjiastuti, said most marine and fisheries exports from China and Thailand were from Indonesian waters. They export values were about 70-90 percent from Indonesian waters.
