REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The government wants to show the world that Indonesia is able to build 35 thousand MW of electricity in 5 years. Energy observer from IRESS, Marwan Batu Bara, sad that the 30 thousand MW project plan indicated that the government is working.

“It could be launched nowadays with expectation that in 5 to 7 years, the project will be completed,” he said.

Electric project should be a strategy to attract investors. The government has been planned in detail to implement this project.

This project can actually be used as solution for problems that happened in other government projects. The constraints usually occurs between the ministries.

According to Marwan, this big project can make the ministry performs extra works. So that the project can be completed on time.
