REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SURABAYA -- PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk, the country's third largest cement producer is ready to commission a new cement factory in Tuban, East Java.

Tuban Plant I and Plant 2 will supply cement for East Java and regions in eastern Indonesia.

"The new facility is to be officially commissioned by the Industry Ministry , Saleh Husin, on Monday next week," corporate communication superintendent of PT Holcim Deni Nuryandain said here on Thursday.

The company already has factory in West Java and Central Java.

"This is the third production facility we have," Deni said.

The new factory has a production capacity of 3.4 million tons per year bringing the company's total capacity to 12.5 million tons per year.
