REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAMBI -- National Counter Terrorism Agency (BNPT) formed terrorism prevention forum (FKPT) in Jambi. It aims to prevent the emergence of terrorism in that province.
Head of BNPT, Commissioner General Saud Usman Nasution, said that FKPT can be used as a media for exchanging ideas about how to cope with terrorism in Jambi. FKPT members can also formulate strategy to cope terrorism recruitment.
"We want this forum to exchange ideas how to cope with terrorism in Jambi. FKPT was our effort to combat the spread of terrorism in Jambi," said Saud Usman.
He continued, of there is suspicion of terrorism-related information, public can tell FKPT. He also asked the Governor of Jambi to provide place to FKPT.
"I ask the governor of Jambi to make a place or room for FKPT, so that people who want to provide information can come to the place where the FPKT is," he explained.
