REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk committed to support development and empowerment economic communities in Karawang, West Java. Until the first half of 2015, BNI has distributed entrepreneurial loans and business credit amount of Rp 125 billion for small and medium entrepreneurs in trade, agriculture, also fisheries and marine sector.
"…to support Karawang as agriculture city, BNI has made a special scheme for credit to farmer," said Director of Network and Services of BNI, Adi Sulistyowati, in a press release on Thursday (6/8).
He explained, BNI is very serious to carry out potential and improve Karawang City communities in banking transactions, in line with rapid economic growth in the region.
BNI show the seriousness by reorganizing whole building of BNI office since last year. "And today, Wednesday August 5th 2015, BNI Building of main branch office in Karawang is ready to operate again with a new face and more magnificent," he said.
Regent Karawang, dr Cellica Nurrachadiana also inaugurated BNI which is one of the grandest building in Karawang. In the last two years, he said, the bank has opened four new outlets in Karawang, there are Galuh Mas Cash Office, Grand Taruma Cash Office, Karawang International Industry City (KIIC) Cash Office, and Outlet Payment Point in BPJS Employment Office.
In Karawang regency, the number of outlets of BNI has reached 13 units; consist of one branch, four office services, six cash offices, one payment point, one unit of BNI Layanan Gerak, and 127 ATM machines.
He confirms BNI is ready to support the growth of Karawang regency that carries the vision and mission, "Karawang prosperous based on development justice based on faith and piety".
Meanwhile, Regent of Karawang praises BNI that has been actively involved in economic development in the Karawang regency. "BNI has been actively involved in the economic empowerment of the communities in distributed cheap credit and credit scheme to the specific needs of community Karawang in particular agriculture sector," said Cellica Nurrachadiana.
Head of BNI Karawang Hadi Santoso expressed his gratitude to the Regent of Karawang and the Regional Executive Conference and the main costumers were present at the inauguration of the BNI Building.
