"The challenge is how to make the Thousand Islands become worldwide destinations so it can attract tourists with the diversity that exists. The name itself is exotic, makes people curious, Thousand Islands," said Djarot.

Djarot explained that to develop the tourism, it needed ease of transports for tourists. In the future if it is possible, the construction of an airport in Pulau Panjang will be continued.

"In 2018 Jakarta will host the Asian Games. That there are dozens of countries here. If we had prepared before the games it can be one alternative destinations for the athletes," said former Mayor of Blitar.

Nico admitted that Kepulauan Seribu would be easier to bind the tourists in the entire world because it was located adjacent to the capital city of Jakarta. To that end, the transport will be needed for the tourists.

"All the beach is the beach, Jakarta destination with business and tourism will add to the destination. Kepulauan Seribu has a strategic location. It will be easier if there is a terminal that connects from Soekarno Hatta Airport to here," said Nico.

On Friday, a visit was made from islands that cater to the middle class up to lower class, namely Pulau Karya, Pulau Harapan dan Pulau Pramuka. While on Saturday, the visit was made on the island owned by a third party that is Pulau Tengah. The island is so luxurious, some of the lodgings are not rented out to visitors.
