REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Vice President Jusuf Kalla said the weakening economic situation in Indonesia was not only influenced by the performance of the ministers, especially in the economic field. However, according to JK, the condition was also influenced by various external factors.

"The economic problem was not just a matter of cabinet's working but also influenced the problem from the outside," said Kalla at the Vice President's office, Jakarta, on Thursday, June 25.

Nevertheless, Vice President JK also assessed the work of the ministers in the cabinet should also work better and improve their performance. Moreover, recently,m a number of ministers getting the spotlight as a result of their performance which was considered less.

"Cabinet must work better, yes,  definitely. We are working on it. We work better," added JK.

The government also, he added, will still receive input from various parties, including businessmen related to the performance of ministers. However, in the end, the government will determine whether good or not the performance of the ministers.

"Yes, there are achieving (good results), there are still working. Not all of them of course. Yes, we assess it not have to just 6 months. But it must be somewhat medium term, but there are many improvement to be encouraged," said JK.
