AGO seizes 10 electric cars of Dahlan Iskan

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Attorney General's Office (AGO) is still conducting an investigation related to alleged corruption in the procurement of electric cars by the former State-owned Enterprises Minister, Dahlan Iskan. Attorney General, HM Prasetyo said that Dahlan Iskan was still existed as a witness.

"Examination of Dahlan is still runs like water, we'll see," said Prasetyo, in AGO's Building, South Jakarta, on Tuesday, June 23.

Prasetyo said Dahlan Iskan was still defined as a witness because he who had the ideas and initiatives. Dahlan also indicated who ordered the procurement of electric cars, which were involving three companies, namely BRI, PGN and Pertamina.

Confiscation of cars that carried by AGO was included in the process of handling cases. Currently AGO seized 10 electric cars belonging to Dahlan Iskan.

"On the report, 10 electric cars were confiscated. Just two which were brought here, because the place is not enough. The rest remained in the same place only under the supervision of the prosecutor's office investigator," said Prasetyo.

Previously, Special Crimes Investigators team of AGO was seized ten units of the electric cars of results of failed project procurement which initiated by the former State Owned Enterprises Minister, Dahlan Iskan. Of ten units which were seized,  eight of which were electric buses and two were MPV cars. Confiscation was done in a workshop belonging to the suspect, Dasep Ahmadi on Jati Mulya Street number 5 Kampung Sawah, Depok, West Java.
