REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MATARAM -- General Manager of PT Sriwijaya Propindo Utama Salim Abdad said his company would build two star rated hotels immediately after the completion of the Lombok Epicentrum Mall (LEM).
The two hotels will be built in the western part of the Lombok Epicentrum Mall to cost around Rp350 billion each, Salim said here on Monday.
"After the construction of the Lombok Epicentrum Mall (LEM), this year we will continue with the construction of two star rated hotels in 2016," he told reporters after the grand opening of an outlet of Matahari Department Store in the LEM.
He said the two hotels would be a 12-floor three star hotel with 250 rooms and a 16-floor four-star hotel with 400 rooms.
He said construction of the two hotels will start in 2016 and will be completed in the same year. "The construction will take only a year," he said.
Apart from providing new jobs, the two hotel would contribute to development of tourism in Lombok," he said.
