REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Spokesman for the selection committee team (Pansel) of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)’s leaders candidates, Betti Alisjahbana said, a number of 61 people have signed up to become leaders of KPK. Three of them were women.
"Until this afternoon the number of applicants has been 61 people, and three applicants are women," he said when confirmed on Thursday, June 11.
Unfortunately, the expert of management and information technology did not want to mention the three women whom signed up. Betti was unwilling to divulge to the public whom the three heroine. She asked the public to be patient waiting for the announcement of the registrant names that pass the administration on June 27, 2015.
Former president director of IBM Indonesia stated that the most registrant came from lawyers, legal experts, private, lecturers and civil servants. All of the registrants came from different regions and evenly distributed throughout Indonesia.
"There are from Aceh, Sumatra, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, Java, Bali, NTB to Papua, all represented," said Betti. She added, Pansel will undertake proactive efforts to attract potential candidates from all regions to participate to register as a KPK leaders.
