REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDA ACEH -- The Aceh Administration is organizing Sabang Fair on June 1-7, 2015, to promote tourism in the province.

"Sabang Fair is an annual festival aimed at promoting tourism in Aceh, in general, and in Sabang located on Weh Island, in particular," Zulfi Purnawati, the head of the Sabang tourism office, stated here recently.

All district administrations in Aceh and some representatives from Malaysia and North Sumatra are participating in the festival.

Several traditional music and dance performances are being held to enliven the festival.

"Several art and cultural groups from Aceh's 23 districts are taking part in an art and cultural contest being held during the festival," Purnawati added.
