REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TIRANA -- A bomb blasted in Tirana on Friday evening injured two people, causing panic among the inhabitants and pedestrians there.

The explosion occurred at about 9:30 p.m. local time (1930 GMT) in the Vasil Shanto neighborhood at Medar Shtylla road of Tirana. Preliminary reports said two pedestrians were injured.

Albanian News 24 TV said that the blast caused considerable damages. Some cars parked close to the site were damaged as well as some buildings in the area.

Preliminary police reports said that the bomb was placed at a building which was under construction and the motives were for revenge.
