REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG -- The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) pushed the West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan (Aher) to make Governor Regulation (Pergub) about Report of the Wealth of State Officials (LHKPN), especially in the West Java provincial government.

According to the Group Head of Reporting and Implementation of LHKPN of KPK Adlinsyah Nasution, KPK hoped the governor and the head of the region not only urged the officials to report, but also to strengthen by spawned the rule to become more assertive.

"Yes, there must be a rule derived from the law of LHKPN. It does enough with governor regulation, not regional regulation. So, later it not just an appeal, but there are strict sanctions for those who fail to report, "said Adlinsyah, on Tuesday, May 19.

After governor regulation, said Adlinsyah, KPK and West Java provincial government and district/city will set severe penalties for officials who do not report their LHKPN. West Java provincial government itself has prepared regulation so that the level of compliance reported officials echelon I, II and III plus will become higher.

From KPK’s records, he said, the awareness of officials in the West Java provincial government recently just reported the wealth at the level of A. In fact, after two years in the same position, or rotation and mutations, they should give back the report B.

"It is always practically forgotten. It has been reported, but it just on A level. That is which we will pushed,” he said.

Caretaker of Regional Secretary of West Java, Iwa Karniwa said the assistance of LHKPN which was done full day by KPK on the officials intended to improve compliance with provincial government officials in making LHKPN. Admittedly, at this time, there are officials who have difficulty filling LHKPN because of busy and reporting technical problems.

LHKPN obligation, according Iwa, is devoted to the entire echelon II A and II B, and echelon III organizer and all branch chief at the Regional Revenue Agency (Dispenda) in West Java. Besides, the whole echelon III officials in the Inspectorate were required to fill LHKPN. "If this can be resolved, then the report of the West Java provincial government could approach 100 percent," he said.

According to him, the specificity of echelon III in Dispenda and Inspectorate to fill LHKPN were obliged because those positions considered having potential irregularities. KPK itself requested that the departments that are serving and related to the service also reported LHKPN.

"I have been report to five times, hopefully others can follow," he said.
