REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Investigators of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Novel Baswedan filed second pretrial to the District Court (PN) South Jakarta. This time, it related to the seizure conducted by Criminal investigators at his home, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, on Friday, May 1.
Novel's attorney, Julius Ibrani said his client sued police to pay IDR 1 billion to finance the anti-corruption campaigns and educations.
"The campaign in the five cities,"he said when registering pretrial Novel, in the PN of South Jakarta, on Monday, May 11.
The five cities, Julius explained, are Bengkulu, Makassar, Kupang, West Kotawaringin and Jayapura. Julius explained the campaign must cooperate with KPK. Police will be given full authority to the supervision of KPK.
The pretrial, Julius hoped, will not be interfered police and the KPK disputes. He argued during this time, the relationship between the police chief and the KPK leaders were went well.
