As the entry point for heads of government/state to attend the 60th commemoration of the AAC, the Husein Sastranegara Airbase has made the necessary preparations to make the event a success, Commander of the airbase Colonel Ardhi Tjahjoko stated while leading a roll call at the airbase on Thursday (16/4).

Soldiers of the airbase and special elite troops of the TNI AU are guarding the airbase, airport, and the surrounding areas. They are assigned to maintain security in and around the airport, he added.

"In addition, we are also assigned to serve the arriving and departing flights that are carrying the delegates (for the ACC's 60th commemoration)," he noted.

He called on all on-duty personnel to understand and master standard operating procedures in accordance with their respective tasks and responsibilities that are necessary to secure the 60th commemoration of the AAC.

They must also uphold discipline and command chains to carry out their duties more smoothly, effectively, and efficiently, he affirmed.
