REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BENGKULU -- Bengkulu city chief prosecutor Wito said seven more suspects among the city administration official are expected to be implicated in the social aid corruption case .
The prosecution office already named eight suspects in the case involving Rp11.4 billion in state fund.
"Not only 8, investigators said there are seven more suspects involved in the case. We are collecting document to complete the investigations," Wito said here on Friday.
He said he hope the suspects and witnesses are cooperative that the case could be brought to court immediately.
He said he did not expect investigations would take too long as the evidence is clear that any attempts by the suspects to deny the charges would not help them .
He said there is still possibility that more suspects would be dragged into the case .
"We are set to get to the root of the case that no perpetrator would escape punishment," he said.
