REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo appointed Triawan Munaf as the Head of Creative Economy Agency on Monday, January 26. Munaf is inaugurated under Presidential Decree No 9P/2015.

The inauguration, taking place in State Palace, allows Munaf to earn facilities equal to ministers. Munaf is an ex-personnel of 70's rock progressive band Giant Step. The father of Indonesian famous singer, Sherina Munaf, is a businessman on advertising.

He joined Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP). He was also a member of Jokowi - Jusuf Kalla Success Team.

Several ministers attended the inauguration of Triawan Munaf. Musicians, namely Addie MS, Sherina Munaf and Dewi Lestari, also appeared at the ceremony.
