REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PONTIANAK -- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) here on Tuesday inaugurated the Mujahidin grand mosque constructed at a cost of about Rp32 billion.
In the company of First Lady Iriana, the president inaugurated the mosque by signing an inscription and then taking a tour of some sections of the mosque.
Also accompanying the president during the inauguration ceremony were Cabinet Secretary Andi Wijayanto, People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) deputy chairmen Osman Sapta and Hidayat Nurwahid, Presidential Advisory Council member Sidharta Danusubroto, and State Intelligence Agency (BIN) Chief Maciano Norma, among several others.
On the occasion, President Jokowi encouraged the mosque's management board to spread public awareness regarding the dangers of drug abuse.
