According to some sources, the Densus 88 team conducted a raid on the terror suspect's house in Krenceng village, Kepung sub-district in Kediri district.
The suspect was believed to be linked to the terror network led by Santoso who has been operating in Poso, Central Sulawesi.
A shootout occurred between the suspect and police officers before the Densus 88 personnel finally managed to gun down the suspect.
The terror suspect's body is currently being kept at the Bhayangkara Police Hospital in Kediri.
