REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- People use social media to interact with each other. Even government's bodies use it as a tool to spread information. Minister of Marine and Fishery Affairs Susi Pudjiastuti is one of them.

Minister Susi Pudjiastuti recently signed up to Twitter. Through her account @susipudjiastuti, she opens a space to interact with people.

"People can send her their voices. They can also just greet her," the Head of Statistics and Information Center, Lilly Aprilya Pregiwati, said on Tuesday, January 13.

Public can also access one and only Twitter account of the ministry, @KemenKP. Pregiwati said the account will provide information and policies issued by the ministries to people. "We hope people can build their trust for the ministry," she said.
