Basarnas evacuates six bodies of missing AirAsia QZ8501

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SIDOARJO -- National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) evacuated six bodies that were believed to be connected to the missing AirAsia flight QZ8501. The bodies were recovered in Karimata Strait.

"We evacuated the bodies using navy vessels," Commander of Aviation Center of Air Forces, Sigit Setyanta, said on Tuesday, December 30.

The vessels used inflatable boats to recover the bodies from the sea. He expected to find all victims tonight or at least tomorrow morning.
