Yudhoyono meets with Jokowi and Jusuf Kalla

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Former President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono met with President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo and Vice President Jusuf Kalla (JK). In the meeting with Jokowi, Yudhoyono holds the capacity as Chairman of Global Green Growth Institute.

Yudhoyono, wearing purple Batik, arrived at Merdeka Palace on 01:00 PM. He then met with Jusuf Kalla in Vice President Office. Yudhoyono expressed his hope that government under Jokowi and JK could run well.

"New government knows which part should be either continued or maintained," Yudhoyono said after meeting JK on Monday, December 8. He expected new government to carry out its duty. "If government succeed, people will be happy and prosperous," he said.

Yudhoyono admitted that he met JK to pay a visit. JK often met with Yudhoyono when he was still a president. "It is my turn to visit him," he said.
