REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANTEN - The Farmers and Fishermen Organization (KTNA) for Banten Province has asked President Joko Widodo, better known as Jokowi, to limit imported products.

"We hope the President will restrict the imports so that local farmers' could benefit from the domestic market," KTNA Chief for Banten Province Oong Syarono said on Sunday.

He said that farmers in Lebak were developing food crops plantations, including horticulture and vegetables. The food crop plantations are expected to enter the harvest period in the December 2014 - January 2015 period.
