REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Financial Services Authority (OJK) will issue two regulations about the integrated supervision of financial conglomerates this year. The two regulations are related to risk management and corporate governance. Head Department of Supervision and Crisis Management in OJK, Budi Armanto said that OJK had asked public response on the draft.

"We have asked public response in 20 days since August," Armanto said recently.

After getting public response, OJK will take it to the Commissioner to be finalized. Armanto hopes that both of rules may come out this year.

Related to the integrated supervision, OJK will issue three rules, namely risk management, corporate governance and capital for financial conglomerates. OJK is still finalizing the third rules and it will not come out this year. OJK will refer to the international forum, such as the calculation of capital based on building box.

"It can be combined. For example, if a bank needs 10 percent of capital, it will be adjusted to the insurance and other costs. Overall costs must be higher than the interest hold and it also based on risk," Armanto said. Satya Festiani/Mutia Ramadhani
