REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, ISLAMABAD -- A spokesperson of the Pakistani Foreign Ministry said on Thursday that her country?s embassy in Tehran is in contact with the Iranian Foreign Ministry to gather information about the arrested Pakistani nationals.
Iran's Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli on Monday announced the arrest of a number of Pakistani and Afghan nationals who intended to illegally cross the Iranian borders to reach Iraq and join the Daesh terrorist group.
Speaking in her weekly briefing, Tasneem Aslam in reply to a question by IRNA in this connection said they have received media reports and the Pakistani embassy in Tehran has made contacts with the Iranian Foreign Ministry to obtain the details.
In reply to a question on cancelation of the visit of Chinese president to Islamabad, the spokeswoman said the visit has not been cancelled but has been postponed, adding that there was much difference between these two terms.
