Jokowi's transition team holds a meeting with minister of foreign affairs

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo transition team held a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marty Natalegawa on Tuesday. They discussed on a number of international conferences after the president-elect Jokowi taking an oath on October 20. 

Member of Transition Team, Rini Soemarno said it was the first meeting with technical ministry in Indonesia United Cabinet II. 

"President Yudhoyono has succesfully brought Indonesia to the global level, so we need to move forward," Soemarno said on Tuesday.

Deputy of Transition Team, Hasto Kristiyanto said both sides discussed on Indonesia's interests in global forum. Jokowi will attend a number of international forums at the beginning of his leadership. There are at least six international conferences, namely APEC, ASEAN, G20, G15, G8 and ASEAN-Korea conference.
